About Me

I have lived in Sevenoaks, Kent since I was 4 years old.  I am married to Peter and have two lovely daughters, Jessica and Isabel (born 2005 and 2008) and a much-loved kitten, Alfie.

I have always held a strong interest in all things pregnancy and birth related and spent many hours during my early childhood with a cushion shoved up my jumper caring for my Tiny Tears!

It was this passion and eventually my own experiences of motherhood that inspired me to follow my dream and train as a Doula. I believe passionately in supporting women, their partners and families at this precious and life changing time in order to help make the transition into parenthood as smooth, special and positive as it should be.

I trained with Nurturing Birth, a leading Doula training organisation and am a Recognised Birth and Postnatal Doula under the umbrella of Doula UK. I am also a trained NHS Breastfeeding Volunteer.

I love spending my spare time with family and friends, cooking, baking (especially eating the rewards!) and sporadic exercise.  I am a good listener; I am kind, caring, open-minded and have a good sense of humour, a pre-requisite for motherhood!

If you are pregnant or have already given birth and feel I may be the right Doula for you, I would be delighted to hear from you.  Please see my ‘How Can I Help?’ section for more information.
